MLNetSec: Advancing Networking and Security for AI/ML Era

Call for papers

In an era where artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are reshaping the landscape of computing, both networking and cryptography face significant challenges. Traditional networking solutions like Ethernet, InfiniBand, RDMA, RoCE, and TCP are proving insufficient to meet the demands of distributed AI/ML training workloads. Similarly, current cryptographic algorithms are threatened by the advent of quantum computing, necessitating the exploration of quantum-resistant methods. This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of these challenges and explore current solutions, highlighting their limitations in addressing AI/ML complexities such as bandwidth bottlenecks, latency sensitivities, and security threats.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Submissions must be original, unpublished work, and not under consideration at another conference or journal.
  2. We encourage early-stage works, position/experience papers for early feedback.
  3. Submitted papers must be at most 6 pages long, double-column, including figures, tables, references, and appendices, in standard ACM format.
  4. We follow double-blind review process. We request authors to keep their details anonymous during the submission.
  5. Accepted papers will appear as per the new open-access publishing model for ACM (more details below)
  6. Atleast one of the authors is required to present accepted papers at the workshop for the paper to appear in the ACM ICPS. Exceptions from this policy for occasional situations must be approved by the Workshop chairs before the beginning of the workshop.

Submit Your Paper

We invite researchers and practitioners to submit papers to the "Advancing Networking and Security Technologies for AI/ML Era" workshop.

New Open Access Publishing Model for ACM

Please note that ACM has moved to a new open access publishing model for all conference proceedings to be published via ACM ICPS. The authors have to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to ACM (which is beyond the regular conference registration fee) if the corresponding author’s organization is not a member of the ACM Open program. Please check the details through this link: author guidance. Several institutes across the globe are already members of the ACM Open program. The authors can use the following link to check if their organization is a member under the ACM Open program: members of acm open program For any clarifications, please contact icps[hyphen]info[at]acm[dot]org.
